We the team of the City of Refuge would like to introduce to you The City of Refuge Ministries. We of the City of Refuge have a three fold ministry to be held in high order.

1. To show (not talk about only) the Love of God. The Love of God to us in unconditional acceptance, not conditional agreement.

Colossians 3:11-14 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

2. The Great Commission:

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Preaching = To proclaim the Word of God. The Gospel = The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ.)

3. To aid the lost (those without Christ) as well as the saved (those with Christ) to become free from the chains and shackles of traditions and legalizm.

We do this through the vessels and opportunities that God Almighty provides. Some of these are ‘one on one’ private conversations with individuals, web sites, chat rooms, and seminars held in person and on site.

The City of Refuge is not a Christian room however it is a Christ Based Room. The difference by today’s standards would be understood as ‘Christian-based’ indicating a title (organization) and a ‘Christ-based’ term indicating a position (organism= body member). One is a title among, and for, mankind. The other is a positioning with God Almighty through Jesus the Christ. Different terms that each hold a different meaning.

Some of the following questions may be yours.

-Why do Christians feel they need to wear masks and put on facades?
-What has caused so many Christians to become double minded?
-Is the bible true, and if so, why is it so commonly argued about?
-Do you feel angry and frustrated most of the time?
-Do you feel powerless to change things around you?
-Do you sometimes think, ‘boy. If that’s what a Christian is, I’m not sure I -want to be one anymore?”
-Does Saturday or Sunday mornings seem like something you must endure?
-Am I the only one with these thoughts?

Well isn’t it about time for you to find your answers?”
